What's this Virtual Reality stuff? Photos that give you an interactive view of the world. Ooooh, that helps. OK, virtual reality photos let you control what part of a photo you are viewing. So if you are looking at a photo of a street corner, you can look in any direction you desire. The photos can be linked together to give you a tour. If you decide you want to see what is on the next block down the street, you simply click on a "hot spot" within the photo and suddenly you are on the next block.

If you see pictures below, just move your cursor over one, hold down on the mouse button and drag.

If you haven't explored the world of Virtual Reality before, you'll have to download a QuickTime Virtual Reality (QTVR) plugin from Apple's web site. I know its a drag, but worth the effort. Download the plugin and come back and take a spin.
